What is child trafficking?

Child Trafficking is when children are deceived or taken against their will, bought, sold and transported into slavery for sexual exploitation, sold as child brides and used for sacrificial worship.

StandOut International believes that when people worship they encounter the genuine heart of God for all humanity. From His platform of love we are compelled to serve the needs of others and we ultimately become a voice for those who have no voice.

Just Give a........

Our initial giving initiative 'Give a pount' came from a verse in the Bible 'I looked for a man among them who would build up the wall and stand before me in the gap on my behalf of the land...' Ezekiel 22:30 - NIV

So the GAP became give a pound. GAD and GAE have also followed as we create global opportunities for people to give one pound, one dollar or one euro to help change the life of a child.

The 100 hours Project

In the next 100 hours we are aiming to raise £900, (that’s only £9 an hour!) to pay the annual rent for a kindergarten that helps children at risk of sexual exploitation in Cambodia

The money raised goes towards StandOut International’s fight against sexual exploitation of children in Cambodia. StandOut International will allocate the funds to the next most appropriate need if funds raised exceed the amount needed for this project.

All Work. No Play. Sweatshop

During Summer ‘09 a group of young people from Greenisland Baptist church got together and said it is wrong the injustice in this world that forces children to work on Garbage dumps, in sweat shops and in the sex industry.

All work no play was born. 40 of them got together organised a cafe to raise awareness about the plight of these children, focusing mainly on the children in Cambodia. They ran their own sweat shop were they designed and printed their own t shirts. At the end of the week they auctioned the t-shirts off. By running a cafe and selling t-shirts and raising awareness, these guys raiseed over £2500. This money will go help these children at risk in Cambodia.
